I tried a ton of solutions presented here and else where to fix the problem but nothing worked. After wrestling with the problem for over a day, I decided that the problem was related to a Windows 10 update to my graphics card. After several seconds an Intel Control Panel Screen will appear.

I do not have online Quickbooks. It fills the entire screen plus I am unable to see the last line on the register or see the “Record” to save an entry. The register will not shrink down from the bottom or top. I can, however, arrow it to be smaller on the left and right sides. I have a total of 7 Quickbook accounts. When I open the other 4 that fit the screen fine , they open up showing the last 19 checks. They are all using the same font, so I think the problem is that the number of previous check is 25 instead of 19, which makes the register too long, so I can see the last check, or the “record” button.
